A native of South Central Los Angeles, Nicole Tinson is an HBCU, Diversity and Inclusion, and Civil Rights advocate. She has learned to transform her pain into power and has made it her life’s work to empower others along the way.
Nicole is the Founder + CEO of HBCU 20x20, social enterprise that connects HBCU students and alumni to jobs and internships. Since September 2017, HBCU 20x20 has placed 1,000+ people into job and internship opportunities, while partnering with companies including AT&T, Intel, Accenture, Electronic Arts, PwC, SpaceX, and more.
She is an alumna of Dillard University and Yale University, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and was recently named on the 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30, Social Entrepreneurs List, in addition to making HBCU Buzz’s Top 30 Under 30 List, and Dillard University’s 40 Under 40 list.
